UNBELIEVABLE? Not on our watch...
COMMENTS“…as with all camos if you don't move or move very slow they don't spook but I had a gobbler see me and come right up to me to "check out" the blue color. He came 3 to 4 feet of me before leaving! I use the hunter orange marker on the tree that I hunt under to let other hunters in the area know another hunter is there.” – Duke Walton, President Texas Hunter Education Instructor Association (T.H.E.I.A) “In the test that we have done over the last two deer seasons I have found that the Zarco blue camo works best in the dawn and dusk light ! Deer see movement more than color if you are moving around a lot they will see your movement no matter what you are wearing, but if you are still or move very slow they don't seem to notice you . They will "see" you if you are out in the open without cover or background or in the direct sunlight.I have had bucks catch me in direct sunlight and if I stand VERY STILL and don't move they have not spooked as they don't seem to know what you are if they can't smell ya ! I recommend the hunter orange in conjunction with the blue camo that way you get the best of both worlds!! – Duke Walton, President Texas Hunter Education Instructor Association (T.H.E.I.A) “Animals didn't seem too concerned about the blue color vs. traditional camo color(s). I was hunting in a situation where my husband was within sight of me. He reported having no problem, whatsoever, identifying my location.” - Monica Bickerstaff, Assistant Hunter Education Coordinator, Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks “I did try out the Zarco Camo on my mule deer hunt in October. My hunting area was located in the Ruby Mountains in northeastern Nevada and the terrain primarily consists of sagebrush, aspen, mountain mahogany, other assorted shrubs and grasses and a lot of boulders and rocky slopes. The background colors during the fall hunting seasons are mostly varying shades of browns and grays. The Zarco Camo stood out extremely well and was highly visible. I am red/green color blind and the blue camo was/would be helpful for me as other traditional hunter safety colors can blend in at times, depending on background colors.” - John R. McKay, Outdoor Education Coordinator, Nevada Department of Wildlife
